Fritz442
Hi All, I use a Toshiba 128mb CF card Goto www.premiermemory.com and 'Flash memory cards/Compact flash(CF)/128mb Toshiba 128MB Compact Flash (CF) Memory Card Model: 1577 On sale for $8.99, They will ship these for $1.99 - 4 to 7 days. I've used this card in 2 different CF7+'s and one Nano and they work perfectly you will see a silver card with no label. They are UNFORMATTED and I think this helps. It will have 156 volumes and I have not had 1 fail yet, I have 3 of these cards. Fritz442
Tempest
I got another card, exact same brand as my 32MB one, but 256MB and it doesn't work. It's doing the exact same thing the other one was doing. Is there anything I have to do to 'pre format' the card before I use it with TI99DIR?
Tempest
Ok I figured it out! I had to format the first volume in on the TI-99 itself with Call Format (1). After that it worked just fine with TI99DIR. It must have set something or another on the card so it wasn't corrupting itself. Formatting the first volume using TI99DIR wouldn't work, it had to be done on the TI-99 itself. Must be some sort of bug or something. Opry99er
Ahh yea... that's what I was talking about in post #43... Just couldn't remember the exact CALL. Glad you're up and running. =)
