xg4bx
Oh sweet, I'm sure this will be a vast change from the last 7. I don't know how people aren't bored to death with this series yet.
+Gemintronic
The best thing is: if you own an unshielded VGA cable you can experience Call of Doody Ghosts for free!
NE146
Oh sweet, I'm sure this will be a vast change from the last 7. I don't know how people aren't bored to death with this series yet. If it was just the single player game (which no one plays) I would say the same. But when it's a constant fresh challenge depending on the skill of your opponents, that's what makes it non-boring. And that's the key aspect.. the competitiveness. Like a lot of other arena-style FPS games It's a almost become like a fast paced virtual sport where you jump in every day for a few minutes and see how you do. +Gemintronic
Memorizing maps and still getting randomly sniped 15 seconds in doesn't sound like fun. Of course, this just means it's not my taste in games.
NE146
I'm here, so obviously my taste in games is the ol VCS/5200/Colecovision/NES/SNES/.etc. and arcade titles like Defender, Robotron (can score a million), DK, Ms. Pac etc..... and I also enjoy Call of Duty multiplayer. Memorizing maps and still getting randomly sniped 15 seconds in doesn't sound like fun. Of course, this just means it's not my taste in games. Memorizing maps isn't necessary but like any game you play in depth, memorization of in-game elements just occurs naturally. And if you get sniped that's a skill you can learn to avoid, in addition learning how to prey on those delicious snipers.. again by playing the game and practicing of course. Like most things it requires practice.. back in the day people who complained they couldn't last 10 seconds in Defender, Pacman, was the norm, but now the expectation is that the field has to be level and beginner players have "fun" without paying any dues. And that's fine and works for games like Zelda:Link to the Past, etc. But there's enough games to have some where you gotta pay the dues and put in the time. If it interests you at all that is.. if it doesn't then it's all moot anyway. Edited May 2, 2013 by NE146
Atariboy
The only console not listed as getting this game is Wii U (surprise surprise) It does surprise me a bit. The Wii efforts seemed to do well enough to justify the extra effort in many past years. If any major publisher was going to take a risk and simultaneously release a major product on the Wii U this Fall alongside other consoles, I would've thought this would've been it. I wish they'd revisit WWII already or something like Korea. Edited May 2, 2013 by Atariboy

Taskmaster99
I like the multiplayer in COD. For the most part. i usually buy the COD games....skip the lame story......go straight to multiplayer for a few weeks....then nothing. It sits and collects dust. Probably do the same for this....lol
Bilnick
Oh sweet, I'm sure this will be a vast change from the last 7. I don't know how people aren't bored to death with this series yet. I am just the opposite, if something is good, I like it when sequels are continuously released. I have been playing Super Mario Brothers games since the late 1980s. I enjoyed them then, and I enjoy the latest games on the 3DS and Wii U. I will buy the next games that come out too. Not all the games that have had long runs of success are my cup of tea, but I can totally understand why people look forward to the next Madden, Mario, Zelda, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Halo, etc. I am sure I will have this upcoming CoD game pre ordered for a release day delivery. Algus
I actually like the CoD single player campaigns quite a bit (Black Ops was great) but I usually wait for them to get marked down before I buy them. Co-op campaign in World at War was a blast too. I have lost interest in this series since Modern Warfare 2 though. The first MW was pretty good but after that? Eh I don't really like competitive multiplayer though unless its something goofy like Bomberman or Mario Kart (and involves with competing against 3-4 other drunks in the same room as you lol)
