So now I found some time to test it. Wow, awesome job! I still think that a fixed stick would be better, but you get used to it quickly and then its just unbelievable. I played some games, here my feedback:

Dragonfire - Not very good at all with the stick, but its not the fault of the stick, its the mix of the two levels. Level one is a 4-gate stage (just left, right, up and down), while stage 2 is a 8 way level. Dragonfire plays better with the original pad.

Super Pro Tennis: Very good. Controlling the player and pushing the buttons at the right moment is much easier than with the original pad. It makes much more fun with the stick!

River Raid: Of course awesome, River Raid is a game which loves the arcade stick. I dont think that it needs some explanation why, its just fantastic :)

Last but not least: Stadium Mud Buggies: WOW!!! Its simply amazing how you can play SMB with the stick. Perfect controlls, perfect gear shifts. I loved the game before I got the stick, but I didnt realized how great it is.

Many thanks for this controller, its brilliant.

I got my controller today, but I have a question: Is it normal that the stick isnt fixed? I can spin the ball (and the stick) unlimited in every direction. To be honest, this makes the controlls squishy. If there a way to fix the stick by my own?

Yes the joystick can spin in circle. I have to admit I've never saw the need to do this, but nothing limits controller from doing this.

I have noticed the spring in the NeoGeoX controller is not a hard as the original NeoGeo AES controller, but I have yet to find a better replacement. If I do I'll let you know.

No way to stop joystick from spinning that I can think of.

If the ball top is coming off, then yes this can be threaded back on. Use thick folded paper on metal joystick shaft to protect metal, hold metal shaft with vise grips, thighten the ball top with hand.

You can confirm the order for my 2nd stick. 4-gate build in and 8 gate to replace if neccessary :) By the way, the stickers arrived today. I did not expect that, very nice surprise and I replaced the first stickers with it.

Did you put the no screw sticker over the 5th screw hole?
