JohnBuell
Official website: vcfmw.org For the fourth straight year, the Vintage Computer Festival Midwest will be in Lombard, IL. The location is the Heron Point Building, next to the Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites on North Avenue. Google Maps: https://www.google.c... 60148&t=m&z=16 This year it's being held on the 28th and 29th of September. The Atari parts of the exhibit will mostly be in the Deli area again this year (I don't know what will be exhibited yet, but certainly one or more STs and one or more 8-bits), and for the first time, we're going to have an Atari-specific sales table. It's going to be yard-sale style, where different people can sell their surplus Atari products all at one table. Cash welcome, checks please made out to the specific sellers (I'll have a list), debit and credit WILL BE ACCEPTED (provided I can get a phone signal ). Questions about the sale, please direct to me - questions about VCFMW, please use the links on their page. Questions about what might be in the Atari exhibit, please direct to the Suburban Chicago Atarians users group at http://www.scatarians.org/ Hope to see you there! Tempest
Just a reminder that VCFMW is this weekend. I'll be there with a few things I need looked at and possibly causing trouble at some of the booths. So if you see a 6'2 bearded guy in an AtariAge t-shirt walking around looking mischievous, say Hi! Dan Iacovelli
would love to stop by after work but figured to pass on this event, the show should consider moving to bigger place if you keep filling tables.
