Algus
http://www.gamespot.com/features/why-grand-theft-auto-online-is-crazy-enough-to-work-6412714/?tag=Topslot%3bSlot1 16-player instanced online world where you can team up with friends and other randoms to complete missions, etc. A high degree of trust exists, ie if you rob a bank it is up to the player who receives the money to actually dole out the "profits" to the rest of the crew. As they talk about in the write-up for the game, this means it is very possible to screw over the rest of your team and drive off laughing. My prediction: There will never be a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. This kind of freedom begs of trolling other gamers. Don't get me wrong. I think the route they are going for this makes sense given the kind of game GTA is but it sure as heck doesn't sound like a game for me. I guess I'm just getting to be an old fuddy duddy. I probably would have thought this was awesome in High School. I am looking forward to EVE Online style stories about elaborate plots to screw other players over though lol
