TI Professional computer for an outrageous price:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/326101378697

https://www.ebay.com/itm/355661957580

The computer part is not too bad of a price compared to others I seen listed in the past.

The bad part with this auction is that the keyboard is for sale by itself, not included in the computer part, and at a very high price as well, which is really crazy!.

Lucky, enough for me I already owe one of these, the Corcomp 512k Ramdisk which can also be your 32k memory expansion. You can infact have two of them in your PEB, but not going to grab a second one, so here is the listing from the eBay seller in Thailand that slowly been selling off lots of great rare stuff.

What would be the going rate for the 99/4A User's Reference Guide?  (Asking here as there are a bunch on eBay...)  SOMEHOW, and I really have no idea how, mine has disappeared.  Does anyone happen to have a spare of the loose-leaf edition?

I was actually surprised that no one noticed that one of the PEBs for sale on eBay this week was the Control Data version. It even had the CD Flex Cable and 32K cards in it. I snagged it, so I now have an almost complete CD system (just missing the CD- branded Disk Controller and RS-232 cards).

We left it for you ;)  Actually, I completely skip PEBs any more.  I have no place or use for another.

Most of the PEB's are overpriced on eBay, and then with shipping to Canada even more costly. -- I did a few weeks ago buy a Canadian PEB that was for sale because it was priced low and included a Horizon 4000 and Flex Cable, so it was worth it. But yeah I am in the same boat, I got like 3 PEB's I am not using, all they are being used for is to store extra PEB cards, I have a bunch of original rs232, 32k, ti disk controllers. i might use another peb soon once i get another flex cable card and another peb joiner for it, as my main systems are packed full, no extra slots, and i need more free slots to add more cards, at the rate i am going i might end up with 3 peb's on one console, if i could find a way to connect all 3 flex cables together, have a total of 21 slots (7 per box). but you only have 16 cru addresses officially, but still there is cards that don't use a cru like the SAMS, and if i move the speech inside to peb as well, that 18 for sure 16 at cru's and 2 with no cru, does the forti sound card use a cru? if not, that would bring it up to 19 in total. -- Hmm, how to get all 21 slots used! :)

Yes, I saw it and almost made the plunge, but I've been sick and dealing with issue about going back to work after 9+ months, so I did'nt hit the button.

There are still interesting things to find out there, even for those of us with extensive reference sets of equipment and software.

I saw the CD PES as well. They are unique indeed, and some of the very last PES systems manufactured (Feb/Mar 1984). Many years ago I acquired the full system on eBay, including the CD-branded monitor, which is actually a Zenith ZVM-131. I’m not certain a CD-branded RS-232 was manufactured, as this typically wouldn’t be used, but yes the flex cable, 32K, and disk controller cards were made. A great site to visit about the system:

The TI console is a late release QI version, with a modified CD-branded ROM. Late release QI’s include the orange-line power switch, along with orange-line on top of the switch itself.

That was amazing.  I had no idea that existed!  They really streamlined the whole look by adding  their beige monitor.

Also, the CDC 7600 operator console. Wow, that's a dual-monitor retro battlestation.

I had that beige monitor once, from an eBay auction many years ago. It was a bit bulky with low resolution for it being 13”. Did not like it. The TI monitor is far better, from picture quality to quality and design. Too bad the beige TI monitor never made it, although it started to be featured in some promo ads and was on the front cover of the entertainment value pack.

There also the original 4 pre 4a monitor which was a tv minus the tuner control.
