Hyperboy
Maybe you could package the book in a Colecovision style box or make covers look like cart box.. Just a suggestion. I will get it even if its in a dirty diaper!
retroillucid
Maybe you could package the book in a Colecovision style box or make covers look like cart box.. Just a suggestion. I will get it even if its in a dirty diaper! The book is first about Coleco itself, from the start till the endObviously, the ColecoVision section will be the biggest It think you will like the look of the book anyway EDIT: Obviously, there is a section about the CV homebrewers Edited October 8, 2013 by retroillucid
phattyboombatty
I would really like to throw my hat in the ring for the editor/proofreader role. I was a Communication major at San Diego State, and I am a huge grammar freak. I have to restrain myself while I read thousands of forum posts (no offense)! I've also taken French, German, and many years of Spanish, so I commonly identify grammatical errors from ESL folks. I know how to properly translate idiomatic expressions. It would be a dream to put my name on a grass-roots effort of this sort, and it would be an even bigger dream if it winds up profitable. Please contact me if interested.

Mirage
Subscribed! I'm almost more interested in this than in the Atari stuff, since I know next to nothing about Coleco-anything.
Wickeycolumbus
Posting so I can keep track of this thread. Not much of a Coleco guy, but I love seeing projects like this. Keep it up!

Retro Rogue
I'll see if I can dig up my early 2000s interview with one of the Nuvatec programmers for you. He also gave me all the original source code for the games Nuvatec did during the redesign of the Colecovision.

river9999uk
Sounds great. I'd be up for a copy for sure. History of these companies and there desperate attempts to keep going always make sad but interesting reads.
NIAD
I just hope you found out why Coleco had so many unreleased titles. Because Coleco knew they were creating a lot of hoopla for these games when they would eventually be released some 25-30 years later by all the great CV Homebrewers!
