keilbaca
YAY, Shooters! I'll have to add these to my shmup wednesdays my weekly Gaming World Wide stream EDIT: I picked up this gem in Japan. Its the Super Famicom Capcom Fighting Pad Soldier. The D pad is really tight, and I like to use it for my Gradius III runs. Edited October 11, 2013 by keilbaca
high voltage
Wow, if the Capcom controller had the joystick on the right, and the buttons on the left side, it would've been perfect. Q Bert 3, one of my favourite games on SNES Edited October 11, 2013 by high voltage
kiwilove
For me, it would be: Snoopy's Concert - puzzle adventure game - Go to Schroeder to play the game. A translation patch for the ROM is available - but this would be for the other game present in it, go to Charlie Brown for that one. The main game is more fun with it's puzzles to solve, Tetris Battle Gaiden - for an original variation on the Tetris theme. Press up during the game to release what magic potion intensity you have for a particular type of spell or ability. The SNES has some great shooters - Axelay, Super Aleste, Super R-Type and R-Type 3 comes to mind. Super SWIV (Firepower 2000) ranks among them... Jess Ragan
Q*Bert 3 is the secret best Q*Bert. It's so wonderfully psychedelic, and the graphics are gorgeous, with characters so lifelike you'd swear they could jump off the cubes and into your lap at any moment.
SlidellMan
Also worth mentioning about Q*Bert 3 is Joe McDermott's music. What that man did in the early '90s deserves respect and admiration. Wolf Child happens to be, in my opinion, Core Design's best game.
Schala
Tetris Attack Adventures of Hourai High-Transfer student. It's an offbeat rpg about a transfer student in Japan. Live-a-live- A rpg where you play as different characters in various time periods
SlidellMan
Metal Jesus, I think that many of Enix' titles for the system that aren't Star Ocean, Dragon Quest, or Actraiser would qualify. Ditto for Dark Law and Solid Runner.
