Show off your Intellivision homebrew shelf!

I put this pic here just because of Robot Rubble and League of Light. Until a few weeks ago I did not know that they are so rare, much rarer of other homebrews. Probably the rarest just after the first two releases of 4-Tris and Blix.

When I'm back home I must take more pictures with a better scenography...

Are those all your home brews? You are missing at least one... ;)

intellivotion,

With regards to SG&R, your understanding is the same as mine. The 1st 100 of the 2005 version had 1 rom and the next 50 had a different rom. I don't recall the exact enhancements. With regards to SG&R 2012, I believe (not 100% sure) that this is a different rom as well with additional enhancements. Maybe David or someone else with more knowledge can confirm.

Joe.

But again: 99 is not so ultimative rare. Its quite a high number. As I told: A bubble. Blix was MUCH cheaper than 800 when it appeared and its much more rare. And I doubt that "its a crap game" count as argument. If the argument is "it has no box" I also do not understand it, because it never had a box, so its simply not available in a boxes version ^^

you're actually right (yes, this time we agree ...). But perhaps the fact that, as you write, Blix is considered "a crap game" and has been released loose does not encourage the not obsessive-compulsive collectors to purchase it and the price does not rise as high. Actually Blix is much rarer the RR and LoL.
I think that RR and Lol are commonly perceived as holy grails, Blix (because has been released recently, some consider it as a bad game, it has been released loose) is not.
Personally I would really like to have it.

I hope that someone gets the permission to release Blix the right way.

It is a pretty good game with bad sound, but all games deserve there own box and manual and a fair release of 100 or more so all collectors can own one.

I picture it being put out again in a second release in complete form!

Are there more than 100 Intellivision collectors? I think there are many more. Those "many more" can't purchase a copy of RR or LoL until one of the those 100 actual possessors choose to sell it, as it happened with IntellivisionD.

100 it's a quite high number, as you write, but much lower than the number of the people who would like to have them

Very probably the number of the Spiker's is far higher than 100, but look at the prices it is usually sold.

There are many more than 100 intellivision collectors, but don't forget that not all intellivision collectors collect home brews. I for one have no interest in ever acquiring either of these titles. A home brew has to really appeal to me before I purchase it. I don't buy them just to get every one. It would help you folks looking to acquire if the folks with multiple copies would give them up. Good Deal Games announced that Blix would be released again in the future as a 2-game pack similar to Same Game & Robots, as well be on a future version of the Intellivision Flashback.

I really hope they can.

How about a petition to be sent to Good Deal Games....
