Yeah, payment sent for my copies. I really like the box art and I'm looking forward to playing this one. Thanks to all involved in also taking their time to iron out potential issues and making this as enjoyable as possible

I got an email because I signed-up to receive Naberhod info because I bought Kroz that way.

These guys, not to mention anyone else that makes Intellivision stuff and actually wants to distribute it, need to advertise. I fully support "it's ready when it's ready and we announce only when it's ready", but I hate to see things that I love, underloved, when they are actually ready.

If I Google search for "boulderdash" I don't find any organic search about the Intellivision version.

If I Google search for "boulderdash intellivision" the organic search results are also weak.

And no Paid Search results at all.

What's up with such a quiet rollout? This is how people potentially miss out on a release. Oh well, guess I gotta drop in on the Naberhood more often.

Order placed!

William did announce it on Facebook. I'm not sure why he hasn't announced it here yet.

Here's his post in its entirety.

Their website doesn't show it, and web searches basically come up dry. It's probably frustrating to me only because I do digital marketing tech all day, so when I see something/someone great that isn't marketing it and potentially making less money because of it, I get a little crazy.

AA must have pissed a few people off, because all of a sudden it's the hip and cool thing to announce these things solely via Facebook or one of innumerable email spam lists.

I don't get it - I'd think the widest possible exposure would be in their best interests, but maybe there's some marketing thing here I'm not fully understanding. I guess the thinking is that people here will eventually talk about it so why bother?

I dunno. I'm a fan of centralized information, but that's just me. It's not like we're talking about persons who've never been on AA or something.

I believe William is in the process of relocating, so he may not have been able to update the Elektronite website yet. I honestly don't know.

Most emails I've gotten from him recently are all from his phone. I believe his personal computer is offline while he relocates. I know posting on AA is next to impossible from my phone, and I can't imagine trying to update a website with it either. :) (And yeah, I've heard there's apps for posting places like this, but I refuse to install them. I'm not an app person.)

I hope he doesn't mind me mentioning all this.

In any case, Boulder Dash is listed on naberhood.com, so everyone go snag a copy! :D
