+grips03
Obviously, we are doing play testing, and our game is not going to ship with problems. It isn't how we roll, and of course has to pass muster with First Star. I was playing the Colecovision verison of Boulder Dash and it has an annoying scroll to it. Does the Intellivision version has the same issue?
+nurmix
I was playing the Colecovision verison of Boulder Dash and it has an annoying scroll to it. Does the Intellivision version has the same issue? Seeing as it's from a completely different company and a totally re-written / new version, coded from the ground up (and a fully licensed version from a top-notch publisher,) I wouldn't worry about that. I've not played the Colecovision version, but based on what I know about the 2 systems, the Intellivision has hardware [smooth] scrolling. The Colecovision does not. I'd say that's probably why you see less than optimal scrolling.

Games For Your Intellivision
This is the preliminary version of the overlay for Boulder Dash ® There have to be some changes made, and it is subject to approval by First Star Software, Inc., but is a good idea of how it will look.

jaybird3rd
Excellent work! This is very much in line with the original Boulder Dash artwork (I was just looking at my copy of Boulder Dash Construction Kit earlier today). Can't wait to see it in person! Games For Your Intellivision
We will be giving First Star Software our artwork files, and hopefully they reuse them on something else. The game is looking as good as it can look. Hopefully we have a couple of 'final' screen shots soon that we can put on the box.

Games For Your Intellivision
There is one more tweak, but I won't bother posting it. Hopefully we have some screens to show soon. Unfortunately, my Pic burner is out of order, and I will have to source another.

Games For Your Intellivision
A clip of Boulder Dash ® for Intellivision version .50 Work in Progress We know the door should be a rivet. Other tweaks are coming with regards to speed, sound volume, colour tweaks etc. Please try to refrain from critiques at the moment, as this is simply a sneak peek.

Thomas Jentzsch
Yes, coming along very nicely. Looking forward to sound being added. In our case, this made a surprisingly big difference.
Games For Your Intellivision
Sound has been added, just not turned up high enough for the camera. The music and diamond collecting sounds are high enough, but the 'digging' sound needs to be increased.

Games For Your Intellivision
Yes, I wasn't really trying to take an 'official' video of the game......just was seeing how it would look on camera. Like many things, sometimes the first try is the one that gets shown.

+Andrew Davie
How can I put this politely... how about... PLEASE use f***ing landscape mode not portrait, when filming stuff with your phone!!!!!! Looking forward to the next video. Can we see, say, screen I (as in the one after H)? Or perhaps screen M? Cheers A
