atarian63
saw this today at target for $39. Has 80 games and decent ones mostly. 2 remote pads. Anyone have good or bad to say about it?
Kyle22
Does that one have a cart port? If so, there are most likely a few cart games that will have errors, or not run at all. That system is a "Genesis on a chip", it is not 100% completely compatible. They do a decent job, for the most part, though. Built-in games should run ok. It all depends on if you already have a bunch of games, you'd be better off with a full Genesis, CD, 32X system. If you don't have any games, 80 games for $39 sounds pretty good. I had a little hand held one with a cart port, and had fun playing Beavis & Butthead on it -K

Kyle22
I hope you like it. I have been a fan of the Gen since it first came out. It seemed more "Atari-like" for some reason than the NES. Not sure why, but I like it. I have the real thing, Gen II CD, 32X, with a flash cart. I can put any game on the cart, and can burn CD's as well. I love it. -K Edited November 17, 2013 by Kyle22

Kyle22
Do Tengen game cartridges run on the AtGames Genesis cart port, in specific, Paperboy and Paperboy 2? I don't know, because I can't find it at the moment. I think my friend's kids had it last If I find it, I'll let you know.
R.Cade
It works pretty well, but the sound is wrong/off. It's like the music is out of key...
almightytodd
Saw some of these at Walgreen's today along with FB 4's. A little pricey in my opinion, but we'll see how well it does. (...sorry about the photo rotation... ...it was right-side-up on my PC before I uploaded it!)
TaskenLander
Walmart has the unit for $29.99 for those who are interested. I purchased one for my nephew for Christmas. Couldn't resist the urge to quickly hook it up and give it a test. Plays original Genesis cartidges great! Video quality is surprisenly better/sharper looking than my original Genesis -- though I only have a Gen 3 mini so maybe thats why.
