Is it possible to make super space module on Jon Guidry cartridge pcboard? I didn't notice any question about this. Have somebody try to make one?

Super Space is CRU-based, you'd have to add CRU decoding hardware. The PCB is not laid out for it.

i cannot order from germany :?

Sure you can. Just let me know how many you want and mail me a postal money order in us $ or western union.. whichever you prefer I'll pm you with the info if your interested.

They will surface as soon as we isolate a minor issue in the layout (the assembled boards work fine when they work but sometimes they don't--and the problem appears to be some type of capacitive resonance issue). As soon as we remove the problem, the boards will be available. I still have about 20 blanks of the current board revision for experimentation. I sent Fred Kaal a couple (via Berry Harmsen) for him to play with in an effort to speed up the troubleshooting process, as he will bring a new pair of eyes to the problem.

now with CAPACITIVE RESONANCE! :)

What the hell is a capacative resonance?

Interesting, I've never seen anything out of the radio or TV environments that suffered from capacitive resonance. Now I'm not familiar with the circuit or anything about it, but am just curious, do you have any switching transistors that might be simulating an AC waveform that prevents any capacitors inline from charging or discharging properly?

Yea that's a load of shit then...

Did you guys create a buss without termination?

I've sold 50% of the boards I am ordering so I went ahead and paid for it. The boards should be here mid-dec

If anyone wants the Mouser component SKUs I used, let me know and I will post them.

Also, CodeHackCreate I think has a boatload of 74LS379 chips....

Someone please double check me, because the actual parts I used were no longer there, so I had to search. :) Looks like Mouser doesn't stock the NTE 74LS379's through-hole anymore, they just have the SMT ones. :(

Also, if you do order from Mouser, make sure to tell them in the checkout comments that you want it sent first class mail. It's only like $2.95.

Is there any performance downside to using a 64KB EPROM when smaller capacity EPROMs would work? The reason I ask is that the 64KBs seem to be the same price or cheaper than the smaller capacity EPROMs. @acadiel? @arcadeshopper? @Stuart? @Willsy?
