New episode time! We review Microsurgeon and have interviews with both William Moeller (owner/operator/whatever for Elektronite) and Rick Levine (he programmed Microsurgeon).

These eps keep growing in size! This one weighs in at 3:08. If that bugs you, I suggest you investigate your podcast player's pause button feature to break your listening up over a few days! :lolblue:

Listen online here: http://www.intellivisionaries.com/website_player.html

Podcast subscription link (via iTunes) can be found at the main page: http://www.intellivisionaries.com/

GAHH!! I called it episode 4 in the title! Ha! It's episode 3.

I'm working on prep for episode 4 and had that buzzing around my (apparently empty) head this morning!

The website player is from Libsyn (our RSS feed host). It's just embedded on the page. I've noticed that it seems to take Libsyn a few hours after uploading to stream reliably... not sure why, and not sure why it's better / worse from certain devices. But thanks for the heads up on that Steve. We do pay for that service, so I will bring it up with them if it continues to be an issue.

Awesome! Downloading it now... Hopefully I'll get to listen to it this weekend. Since I moved, my commute has gone from 1.5 hours to 2.75 minutes, and that has seriously cut down on my NPR, music discovery, and audiobook/podcast time.

Hope you'll be ready for episode 4 dZ.. It's all about 'Carol', along with your interview...

Just finished the podcast. Another great one, guys! Thanks for the shout out on Astrosmash :)

Can't wait to hear the new one covering Carol vs Ghost! I love that game and can't wait until the HSC. Carol will be a pleasant break from Mouse Trap, which is driving me crazy.

Thanks, Jason. And you're welcome. We really enjoy the listener interaction with the show. We're looking forward to doing the Carol episode too.

Finally listening to episode 3.......Yes the Tron Complete will have a unique new menu. There will be a Easter Egg.

Now sorry for derailing this thread and trust me, it is not an attack on anyone at all....im just blabbing.....

Legality? LOL I would like to point out that the Atari Age store is selling Pac Man games......Not bustin anyones chops...just sayin'

Which brings up a point that may be touchy in the "homebrew" scene......it seems almost all other systems, that people release tons of games that NO ONE has licences for....NES? Ever seen the tons of hacks and repros and homebrews for zelda, mario and metroid and so on..........Colecovision? same deal and practicly every other system..

So, why does it seem like everyone scream legality and keith robinson for anytime someone wants to release anything for intellivision?

OK, im done....

Ha, ha, ha! I gotta say I'm sympathetic to your view! :) It does bug me that all the other systems seem to be more or less immune to this concern.

Yeah! Its kind of weird isnt it?

I have been eyeing this NES Super Metroid Redesign 'homebrew'........I am quite sure it is licenced by Nintendo!!!! LOL

Again, sorry for derailing the thread Rick!

You should make this a topic on your podcast!
