mvdsteenoven
Would it be possible to create an interface to connect an Aquarius cartridge to USB? I was thinking about a simple Aquarius emulator which starts automatically when a cartridge is inserted, it would enhance the Aquarius experience Some kind of USB EPROM reader? Any ideas for a simple schematic? Regs, Martin Edited December 13, 2013 by mvdsteenoven
Aquaman
Are you looking to make something like this which are available for the SNES? http://hackaday.com/2009/06/19/usb-reader-for-snes-game-carts/ https://www.retrode.com/ Edited December 14, 2013 by Aquaman
mvdsteenoven
Good link, but more enhanced than I had in mind. Looking for some quick solution with minimal soldering. It gave me more ideas and found more information, thanks for that. This interface shows the ROM as a file, I was thinking about an Aquarius emulator which scans the USB port and when a cart is inserted it runs the game.
