Doesn't this prove that after programming the C64 for years, they finally discovered that programming an 8 bit Atari is way easier?

"Finally"... it's not as though i've been writing Atari 8-bit code for half a decade or anything, eh? =-)

(And i'd still call the C64 easier overall.)

i tried to send a second entry along but it got "lost in the post" when i was too tired at some ridiculous hour of the Saturday morning to correctly attach the file to an email! S'called 15 Hues, is available from the Cosine website and looks like this:

It's not a bootable ATR. Load a DOS, and mount this as drive #2.

Still don't get it.

I have here many atr of programs with DOS.

I tried, for example, the one with turbo basic and after the ready I type DOS or dir and I have this one in drive1 (even Load just one of the DOS 2.5 from AOnline).

Now I attach the Forever atr into D2 (the same in Atari800WinPlus or Altirra) and then when I try to do DOS option L no way:

1st: Forever15.atr has one more than the original 8charracters allowed

2nd: I change that into F15.atr but still no way

I always get Error146.

????

Thanks.

You have to do a directory of the ATR mounted as Disc 2. Look for the files ending with .COM, and load the file individually.

Don't worry Jase, I'm just yanking your chain, I'm as much use to Cosine as Tony Blair is as an advert for honesty.

Well done on the award, totally deserved, just wish there was one for all our wonderful Atari 8 bit current dev's, lovely people...
