eightbit Posted June 4 Share Posted June 4 (edited) Recently had UNIBios v4 installed in my Japanese AES finally! Got it recapped as well. Christa at Sound Retro did the work for me for a very reasonable price: https://soundretro.co/ While I have worked on many things I was just way too nervous to take a solder iron to my beloved Neo-Geo, and since Christa has done work for me previously (repaired a Jaguar) I left it to her professional hands. Came back and the work is superb. Now I can play games in English as well as in arcade mode and the system is freshly recapped and will probably outlast me If you are looking for a repair or mod to your system, shoot her a message and tell her that Bruce aka eightbit sent you! ColecoGamer Posted June 4 Share Posted June 4 I’ve pre-ordered 4 MVS games: Deamon Claw, Super Bubble Pop (received), Knight’s Chance and Vengence Hunters. That’s $1600USD so far. Gladmort seems nice, but it seems to be missing something. People have said the hero looks a little bland and needs a cape. I believe they should redo the entire hero sprite and add more detail. I know its time consuming and all that, but presentation is everything in a Neo Geo game, which is why I redrew everything in Sensitivity. Now I’m worried about the attract screen looking nice. For me personally, I love the game! Music/sound effects are awesome. I prefer this game to the Streets Of Rage series on Genesis. Plus, the heroes (though some may argue they are exact copies of Final Fight’s Cody and Guy), are imaginative with great attack sequences. I have Burning Fight on MVS, but not Neo CD.
