Where does all the DLC go?

 

That and all the download-only stuff that's no longer available?

 

I sure wish they'd release retail DVD compilations of this stuff (e.g. the return to Rapture content for Bioshock infinite).

On the consumer side of things. DLC doesn't go anywhere. On the corporate side you can be assured each company has archives.

It's all accessible via your download history even if it has been removed from the marketplace.

If you mean when they shut the Live server down, I think history has clearly shown that almost all content (disk based and download based) is obtainable usually shortly after a console is no longer supported, and in most cases before that. I wouldn't sweat it.

Given on the console side of things, only the original xbox has had discontinued console support for DLC that I'm aware of, what is this "history has clearly shown" thing you speak of.

 

I mean legally available of course. warez downloads and/or having to mod your console doesn't count.
