You should also understand that many of us have lives outside of online forums. You can't realistically expect everyone to be able to reply with less than a week's notice and you should never assume everyone can spare 5 minutes every day. The fact that several members missed the deadline proves my point. As I explained, I am busy fixing things up for an inspection. I am literally working day and night and some nights I get no sleep at all. This is not an exaggeration.Don't go making me out to be the bad guy because I expressed my feelings. Even if I am the only one who has a problem with this, as you suggested in a private message, doesn't mean I'm not justified. I was promised a spot for months only to be told I missed out because I didn't reply the split second you wanted me to do so. Are you going to die if you don't have an alternate ADAM power supply right now as opposed to waiting a few more months? I've been watching this thread since the beginning, but I literally waited until the last day to pay for my supply. If I had missed out, I would have gladly waited for the 2nd run. If you FOLLOW the topic, you will be emailed every message that is left here concerning the power supply. You don't even have to read the forum. Be happy that someone has gone to the time and trouble to produce this power supply. I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no sympathy for someone who complains that they missed out on the 1st run. That's on you...not on Rey. We're all busy...we all have lives...yet most everyone who wanted a PS managed to order one and with the exception of you, those who missed the first run aren't complaining about it. All I was saying was that I was not surprised because some were given shorter notification than others and the deadline was unclear until there were 2 hours left. I checked my inbox and there was an email notification of a private message from an hour earlier saying I missed out and rey abruptly left the conversation after months. Ask here how many times the members in this thread messaged me to complete their purchase. At the end You were the only one that missed the deadline who replied after I contacted them. I gave the other two who did a 2nd chance and they took it even at a small increase because they understood that price was group pricing and pre-orders had closed. Even so, I still ate some additional cost due to it being a small order but wanted to do the favor. Others that never even replied or haven't logged on in months missed out but will have a 2nd chance. I've demonstrated patience with you and even gave you a 2nd opportunity, but you complained about the less than $5 increase I asked for.Due to your behavior I would rather not do business with you. My reputation here speaks for itself and have no need to continue this ridiculous conversation. I will ask you again to please stop polluting the thread with this nonsense. TPR Posted June 1, 2015 Share Posted June 1, 2015 I have topics that are important to me, or that I know a pre-order deadline might be coming to set to send me notifications when there is a reply. As soon as I saw the email notification about that pre-orders had started, I jumped on it. I personally think there was plenty of notice and plenty of time to make the pre-order. Perhaps the email notification system would be a great option for future items that you don't want to miss a deadline for. Thanks Rey for putting these together. I know exactly what it's like being a one-man operation doing something as a passion project that you don't actually *have* to do, and then having other people complain about it. No rush though, it'll get here when it gets here. It'll take at least 4 hours. The worse part is drilling all these holes by hand and doing it as perfect as possible.
