david__schmidt
(Note it takes 7 tracks, rather than the 3 of normal DOS 3.3 or the 2 of the DOS I use on my usual disks.) You know, of course, that's because it has to also load in the moral equivalent of the Apple II ROMs on which DOS and Integer depend. Well, of course. It even has a C600 ROM so you can switch to a different DOS variant (I tested this =p) Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/226016-what-are-the-main-reasons-that-the-apple-iii-failed-did-it-have-games/page/2/#findComment-3065363 Share on other sites
Arbee
Nice I lucked into an early production Apple II mouse card with a dumpable EPROM version of the 68705 microcontroller instead of the more typical security-locked-down mask ROM version. It's en route to a talented MAME dumper and once that's done it'll be supported in MESS for the II and ///. (Hopefully it can help AppleWin with the glitches they've experienced trying to simulate the microcontroller's behavior as well). Does anyone have the LIRON/Unidisk 3.5 driver for the ///? I just heard about it on "Drop /// Inches" #3 but I haven't been able to dig it up.
