freewheel
Never used bitcoin. Seems like gold speculation. The value of gold never fluctuates by 20% in a single day.
Games For Your Intellivision
I've checked out the manual (preliminary) as it is now and it looks pretty good along with the website. Hopefully it can be printed soon and the details of sales can be worked out.
mr_me
Maybe its already been said, but I think many people will be happy with a downloadable PDF manual and generic box. Will that be an option?
intvnut
Maybe its already been said, but I think many people will be happy with a downloadable PDF manual and generic box. Will that be an option? Well, given that I've already paid for a pile of boxes and they're already sitting in my garage and livingroom in TX... I could offer a plain box, but it wouldn't come with a discount.

freewheel
Are you going to offer a ROM-only release?
intvnut
Maybe a future batch of cartridges? If I ever run out of boxes, I'll happily consider selling carts w/out them as long as there's enough demand. But, I wouldn't use that as a reason to put off buying one. You could be waiting a long time. Are you going to offer a ROM-only release? I might! But if I do, it'll just be a Teaser Edition. ;) Edited May 3, 2016 by intvnut

You're going to hold off on buying this cartridge to save potentially what two to three dollars on the box? Come on

mr_me
The great thing about the LTO Flash is that it will make it so you don't have to manufacture and ship cartridges and boxes in the future; unless you want to.

How? Does it come with custom boxes for all future games already? Because that seems to be what goes for greater demand around here...
BBWW
The real reason people like MP3's over CD Quality is they can steal it, I mean borrow it. Collecting ROMS is not really as much fun. I actually still have a CD player, Cassette Player (don't use that except to transfer old tape to digital) and a turntable along with my digital libraries. Maybe the next games should be digital license only. You pay $2 a month to play say, "Ultimate Pong" for 12 months. Next year if you still like it you can pay another $1.50 a month or it stops working. Let's keep up with the technology and revenue streams of the 21st century for Retro Games. Own nothing...just lease. The wrath of the box lover is a horrible burden, :-)

wolfy62
Are you having your period? This actually is a funny reply! I ran out of time this morning before going to work, and my comment was going to read that before anyone wants something like this for free, or cheap or whatever... I want the box, manual and complete package as it was intended to be released. If somebody wants to purchase it a different way, down the road after these guys sell as many as they can down the road, so be it! Its not my product or call, I just know how I want to purchase it, the same way I always have! Yea, I deleted the whole message except the period! freewheel
I don't think you guys have anything to worry about. The boxes have been printed. You don't have to panic over the thought of LTO Flash! being cart-only.

You don't have to panic over the thought of LTO Flash! being cart-only. I think the thing that is misunderstood is that somehow selling LTO Flash! without a box could somehow be cheaper. Since there is a box printed for every LTO Flash! cartridge already, no discount could be expected.

Hastor
I'll wait for the edition where you get a ripped open box that looks like it got wet at some point and a manual that's been used to rest cigarettes on for at least 6 months.
