LTO Flash! - Intellivision Flash Cartridge Information

Recommended Posts

Maybe its already been said, but I think many people will be happy with a downloadable PDF manual and generic box. Will that be an option?

Well, given that I've already paid for a pile of boxes and they're already sitting in my garage and livingroom in TX... I could offer a plain box, but it wouldn't come with a discount.

Maybe a future batch of cartridges?

If I ever run out of boxes, I'll happily consider selling carts w/out them as long as there's enough demand. But, I wouldn't use that as a reason to put off buying one. You could be waiting a long time.

Are you going to offer a ROM-only release?

I might! But if I do, it'll just be a Teaser Edition. ;) ;) ;)

I was thinking the same thing. Seriously? You're going to hold off on buying this cartridge to save potentially what two to three dollars on the box? Come on

The great thing about the LTO Flash is that it will make it so you don't have to manufacture and ship cartridges and boxes in the future; unless you want to.

How? Does it come with custom boxes for all future games already?

Because that seems to be what goes for greater demand around here... :P

The real reason people like MP3's over CD Quality is they can steal it, I mean borrow it.

Collecting ROMS is not really as much fun. I actually still have a CD player, Cassette Player (don't use that except to transfer old tape to digital) and a turntable along with my digital libraries.

Maybe the next games should be digital license only. You pay $2 a month to play say, "Ultimate Pong" for 12 months. Next year if you still like it you can pay another $1.50 a month or it stops working. Let's keep up with the technology and revenue streams of the 21st century for Retro Games. Own nothing...just lease.

The wrath of the box lover is a horrible burden,

You describe a dystopian society. A world without thousands of fresh Youtube unboxing videos? I could not survive!

Are you having your period?

This actually is a funny reply! I ran out of time this morning before going to work, and my comment was going to read that before anyone wants something like this for free, or cheap or whatever...

I want the box, manual and complete package as it was intended to be released. If somebody wants to purchase it a different way, down the road after these guys sell as many as they can down the road, so be it!

Its not my product or call, I just know how I want to purchase it, the same way I always have!

Yea, I deleted the whole message except the period! :)

The wrath of the box lover IS a horrible burden, and I need to sell stuff unrelated to Intellivision off because of that.

On the other, side I have collected that way for 37 years, I can't stop now!

I don't think you guys have anything to worry about. The boxes have been printed. You don't have to panic over the thought of LTO Flash! being cart-only.

I think the thing that is misunderstood is that somehow selling LTO Flash! without a box could somehow be cheaper.

Since there is a box printed for every LTO Flash! cartridge already, no discount could be expected.
