Tempest
I figure this might be some useful information for people who have a mouse on their IIe/IIc and want to use it for something. Let me know if I've missed one. Adventure Construction Set Archon II (options screen only) Arkanoid Arthur Balance of Power Bejeweled Borrowed Time Centuari Alliance (almost required I'd say) Chessmaster 2000 Chipwits Clue: Master Detective Crossbow (can anyone verify?) Dragon Wars Destiny Galacticon Journey Math Blaster Plus (128K version) METOO Minesweeper (IIe mouse only) Orge Shogun Summer Games Tass Times in Tone Town Universe II Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego Where in Amaerica's Past is Carmen Sandiego Zork Zero I've read that there was a re-release of Wizardry that implemented mouse support, but no one seems to be able to find that version (http://www.filfre.net/2014/06/25/) Quote In 1984 Woodhead improved the engine yet again, to take advantage of the new Apple II mouse should the player be lucky enough to have one. LouisB
Arkanoid is a good simple one to test with as well
magnusfalkirk
The freely available version of Apple II Desktop: https://www.a2desktop.com/ definitely uses the mouse. Without a mouse it is useable, here's a link to the version 1.2 documentation that describes key combinations and what they do: https://www.a2desktop.com/docs#h.p_fthAmDxtEOQ9

Lando242
I don't have a mouse for my Apple II but I think I remember using a mouse to play some of the Carmen Sandiego games back in the day.

Lando242
I found a box for it but they use a different label. It only shows the operating system (Apple) inside a triangle with no other information.
magnusfalkirk
I just booted my 5.25 disk image of Where in Amaerica's Past on Virtual II, and it came up with mouse support. I'd imagine all the Carmen Games support the mouse on the Apple II. I can check my other disk images if you'd like.
CaptainBreakout
I just remembered... I'm pretty sure UpTime monthly disks (and probably Softdisk) featured mouse support in their GUI. These disks had some pretty nifty games on them, and some fun utilities like the music player that could play two notes simultaneously. John Romero wrote a lot of the games on UpTime. I doubt the first three (World, US, and Europe) do, but you never know. I wonder if North Dakota does? I guess it depends on which engine it was based on (probably USA).
