UnknownArchive
It's Frogs and Flies for 2600. It's working, but the cart is really weird. http://imgur.com/a/OwKWN
awhite2600
Looks like a pirate cart for running games from EPROMs. People with the necessary skills often created them in the 80's. Not likely a prototype.

UnknownArchive
Darn. This was the reason I asked. When I first found it I thought I found gold, but then I started thinking about it and the concept of an early pirate cart came to mind. Oh well, it's still a goofy little gadget
UnknownArchive
Also I spoke to the author, David Rolfe, and he had no idea if it was authentic or not.
