Omega-TI
There is ONE game, (that has a jet pack in it) that I think would be the PERFECT F18A only game to showcase it's capabilities (and the programmers too). I believe it's on the razor's edge of what is possible on the TI with the F18A I give you Dangerous Dave..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MpvYkGeC_8 If this was ever ported to the TI, I could die a happy man. TheMole
Tried to run this in js99er, but it won't load for me. It shows the opening screen, but when it tries to load the second file, it just returns to XB. When you then try to list the program in memory the system crashes. Huh, I find that to be an extremely crappy game: typical early DOS game graphics with weir shades and gradients, incredibly wonky physics, horrible sound, non-scrolling playing fields... Should be perfectly doable on the TI.

Willsy
Sounds like it's FUBARd, after the ship takes off you should go to the next level.

ti99iuc
ok, i found original instructions they are in Italian so i tried to translate it for you : --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLANETS HUNTER of M.M.G. Software Planets Hunter is a game space and multi-screen consists of two separate programs. the first contains a presentation screen of the game and the definition of some graphic characters, the second contains the actual game. After loading the second program you will be asked if you want to play with the joystick or keyboard. In case you have chosen the keyboard you will set which keys you prefer to use for the various movements. The game: The game has three different screens plus a bonus screen. In the first stage of the game you have to maneuver your astronaut to help him recover the pieces of his rocket. After picking up a piece must move to the right of the screen until the picked piece does not fall in the right place. the pieces of the rocket should be collected in an orderly manner: first the base. Then the lower part of the rocket so that middle and then the top. After completing the assembly of the rocket, will fall from the top of the screen some fuel container that you have to collect one at a time and drop in the rocket passing over as previously done for the rocket pieces. Once you have completed filling the rocket start and move to the next mission. To overcome this first level you have to be careful not to get out of the screen and not collide with objects that pass through it horizontally, otherwise your astronaut will dead. You can also destroy the aliens or meteors that try to cut you down firing at the right time. At the third stage you are in orbit, and you must avoid objects that move vertically on the screen. You can also shoot to destroy them temporarily but be careful, however, not all can be destroyed !!! There are also other items that pass through the screen horizontally and if you hit them you will get more points. You must be careful only to the passage of the moon because it should not be destroyed, but taken!. When you are able to collide with a moon be able to move to the third stage. At this point you are on the moon that you have to free the aliens. you have to hit twice every enemy ship, avoid the missiles and suicide bombers even spaceships that try to shake you off. Be careful not to take too long to destroy all alien spaceship or you will lose and have to start from the beginning. Finished this screen you will see a big ship that rise to the top dropping small parachutes that are collected will give you many points. When this phase is complete you'll have to re-build a rocket to leave and go to other planets free. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ i hope all is clear now ... i also created a page on my website <<here>> Edited November 3, 2014 by ti99userclub
