Marc Oberhäuser
Is the box for these the height of a gatefold? Or more like the 3rd party boxes (Parker Bros, Imagic, Intellivision Inc, INTV, Coleco, Intelligentvision)? The box (slip lid) is smaller: 13cm x 10cm x 2cm Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/231650-intellivision-trading-cards-series-1/page/2/#findComment-3110085 Share on other sites

For those interested: Standard gatefolds and Activision are around 20 cm tall Most others are around 19 cm tall Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/231650-intellivision-trading-cards-series-1/page/2/#findComment-3110130 Share on other sites
Arenafoot
Twin Galaxis? Is this the guy that showers and sleeps with the referee shirt on? yes.... Walter Day.....he was at the Houston ArcadeExpo this past weekend (along with Billy Mitchell). Arenafoot
Do you have a list? I've only recently learned about these, and the lists at videogametradingcards only seem to cover 2012. no....I'm in the same boat as you are about learning about these cards. Walter Day (former owner of Twin Galaxies arcade - and official scorekeeper) was at the Houston ArcadeExpo this weekend (along with Billy Mitchell) and he said that all of the cards are paid for out of pocket and donations. Looks like they go back as far as 2010-11, but none made in 2013, but they are back but not with the Twin Galaxies name on them. Walter and Billy gave out trading cards awards to several people in attendance saturday night who have their own cards now. I started gathering all of the pics of the cards I can get to try and make a list. Though these cards are not issued in number order! (card numbers are random) Which will make it even harder to figure out. Arenafoot
i believe walter day sold it and someone else turned it into the pile of crap it is today. Walter sold the arcade not the trading cards..... he's very passionate about these cards. He was even surprised by finding out that he will be issued on card #1000 while he was at the Houston ArcadeExpo saturday night. The 2014 cards do not have "Twin Galaxies" listed on them anymore. Arenafoot
isnt that because the website was sold? I'm assuming that is the case becuase alot of the cards I picked up at the expo are #1000-#2999 and not under #1000 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/231650-intellivision-trading-cards-series-1/page/2/#findComment-3111310 Share on other sites
