Got my copy of Shadow Warrior 2 the other day also. The production delay was unfortunate, but I appreciate that SRG put all patches to disc - which is as it should be. I was less than impressed that their first ever release (Strafe) was published in a broken and almost unplayable state. The company's very name, Special Reserve Games, connotes meticulous care and quality like a select batch of bourbon, so it was disappointing to see them rush Strafe out the door. Why the rush?? I think they've learned their lesson, as SW2 shows. That said, their next release, Absolver, is online multiplayer only (or 99%) so I won't be purchasing that one.

 

I haven't started SW2 yet. I thought the first was merely ok. I didn't like having to swipe the touchpad to execute moves, though I know the developers were just trying to make use of it. I'm curious if they kept that mechanic in the sequel.

Yea I passed on Absolver as well. And Strafe is an awesome game but was extremely buggy at release
