This finally arrived in the mail. My search for a color monitor for my 520ST is over. All it needs is some TLC (some cleaning) and that is it. Not bad for $139!

Nice find!
Love the styling of the ST computer and its peripherals.  Really unique for the time period.

I really like the front on that particular ST monitor, a lot nicer than the older ones, and matches the computers better.

Most definitely.
That angled power button is a nice touch and pays homage to the disk eject button on the main computer.

I really think Atari's industrial design came into its own in the late 80s and early 90's...everything from the ST line, the XEGS and even the Lynx II had a great design aesthetic that was futuristic and different than what the competition was peddling.

Congrats on the binder (it looks to be in GREAT SHAPE.) and the elusive Spy Hunter joystick tray. I noticed School_Girl had a CIB 400/800 Spy Hunter with the tray this week for way too much. ;)

Agreed.  They have ridiculous prices anyway, but that one was especially laughable.

These came in over the weekend:

(1) Crossbow (7800) - new and sealed.
Good price on this one, particularly since it's new.  Looks like I have the box variant with the blank 4th bullet point (for use with NTSC televisions...) on the back

(2) Scrapyard Dog (7800) - used and complete
Got a good deal on this.  Figured it was time to buy since prices are trending upwards.

Another 7800 console.
But this is an early El Paso unit from 1984 (serial # 007965)

Good price, and actually fires right up with zero issues!

What's going on with that white stuff? I just picked up a 7800 too and it had that in the exact same screw hole. It looks like spiderwebs to me. Anyone know if that was intentional by Atari? Something besides spiderwebs of course. lol

also, nice find. Careful buying so many or you might look like a hoarder 😜

Yeah, this will be the last one lol!  Otherwise I'll turn into that bearded guy saying "howdy folks, JT here..." and posting Youtube videos lol!!  🤣

Regarding the white screw hole stuff.  I think it's some kind of warranty seal sticker where you're forced to break the seal if you're going to open the unit.  Definitely not spiderwebs since I took the console apart and it's pretty clean inside and out.  That seal was already broken when I got it.

Picked up a “Promotional Use Only” unit today with the shiny chrome switches.  Box has some wear, but the hardware looks hardly if at all used.

Nice find!
Even the cardboard box interior and contents look unused.

Somewhat recent pickup on market place.  Been sitting for a while and just finally opened it and cleaned it up.   In nice shape except the 2 cartridges are missing.  No big deal though they are easily replaced.  Been interested in one of these for a while.  Now I feel like I have to chase the xe blue label games though.  🙄

Looks complete, aside from the aforementioned Bug Hunt and FSII games.
You might be missing some of the documentation like the manual for the keyboard (though I could be wrong there, so please feel free to correct me if so)...this is what came with my setup:

And I feel your struggle about chasing down yet another variant or series of games. No matter how much I want to pare down my collection, a new acquisition always results in me adding more games.

Yes, you’re probably right that I’m missing a few manuals etc.  I’ll have to keep an eye out for those.

Bought this unwanted 130XE Owner's Guide (plus extra Atari patch) for a great price.  It was a seller I bought some stuff from last month and I noticed this sitting for sale for a while now.

I don't currently own a 130XE (I do have a 65XE), I might pick one up at some point since I love the look and style of that series.

Nice. Can’t recall if I’ve got a 130xe or not.  Ive got a couple of similar style, but that might be a 65xe like you have.  I don’t actively pursue the xe line, but a few have fallen into my lap.

I hear you.

Never intended to go down the Atari 8 bit avenue either, but I picked up the 65XE a few months ago + the XEGS and I have to admit I do enjoy the hardware and some of the games.  Some of the older games retain the VCS look and feel, but with added depth and playability.  Like a super 2600 in some respects.

I just love design aesthetics of the XE line though.  Some of the most appealing designs from that era.
