Miqorz
Great I got the Ikaruga ISO but it's a SMIDGE more than what my CD-Rs will hold...great... do they make CD-Rs that will hold like 800mbs?
liquid_sky
this is one of the reasons systems die early.. the dreamcast died in part due to blatant piracy. The neogeo pocket was emulated while it was still for sale, and lost sales there and died.. im containing myself to avoid lashing out at you, i just think you should drop this topic now. liquid_sky
im kinda tempted to tell you how, just so you fry your dreamcast from overworking the laser assembly so you will learn a lesson, but, nah.
Atari-Jess
Yuno, Just because you "own" a couple of games doesn't mean squat If you find you even one site with a number of "backups" what is gonna stop you from getting the ones you DONT have? Its much to tempting to just get them all since you could easilly just play I think its best ye just quit asking here. And liquid sky is right there are MANY products that can be purchased software or buffers or cleaners that can fix your damaged games. invest in them. Happy_Dude
Sega had the cheapest DEV KIT of any console ever, so all you need to do is buy yourself a HKT-01 with a GD Burner. The disks are easier to find than the burner but you can backup whole games instead of rapeing them to fit onto a CD-R
Mock
damn---I'd like to have one of those just to keep! lmao Sweet! Why bother backing up DC games anyway? You can get most games from ebay or flea markets or online retailers like www.ebgames.com for next to nothing? That would be like trying to back up your Space Invaders cart...lol...I enjoy getting the entire game - manuals- case/box etc etc etc... The hacks for these systems do tend to intrigue me...the mame stuff and the atari emu's...homebrews..stuff like that. But if you can buy it, and esp. if you can buy it cheap...just pick up a legit copy. Mock
goatdan
Hmmm... Dreamcast Piracy - does it hurt? Half Life was pulled from production at the last minute because the developers didn't want to lose money due to the piracy going on with the system. At least one publisher is working on bringing out brand spankin' new US Dreamcast games *now*, but the piracy issue turns many, many developers away. *shrug* [sarcasm] But who would want a new Dreamcast game now anyways? [/sarcasm]
CPUWIZ
Hmmm... Dreamcast Piracy - does it hurt? Why do you think the Dreamcast is gone ?
Miqorz
Isnt it just as illegal to import Ikaruga and play it on a modded US console as it is to burn it?
