If doing the latter the database can help determine which titles have a sideB. You can also clip off the top of the disk outer plastic and turn the media over in the sleeve. I tried adding another index hole, it is harder that it seems, so I went with turning the media over.

+remowilliams
I use a hole puncher for making new index holes as well. The puncher has a protective tape on the jaw side that enters the disk sleeve to protect it. An empty disk jacket is used as a template to mark the location for the punches.

So even if a specific title is preserved and verified, additional dumps could still be valuable if they happen to be a different variation.

_The Doctor__
Nah that's just the write protect notcher for 5.25 and a 3.5 inch HD notcher, but your close... I may still have the actual flippy maker, but it was easier to use a regular puncher once you have the nack. Literally a puncher with guides and templates/media physical media protection, looked slightly odd. Flip-It was made by D/Punch Co. in Newton Highlands, Mass. It is a kit that includes two punches and the necessary guide frame as well as protectors to permit you to punch up your single-sided disks accurately and easily without any noticeable damage. _The Doctor__
This write protect notcher is not the same, It will only work as a flippy in non index hole drives... the Xf551 can't format without index hole and neither can a number of Atari double sided double density drives. if the post is unclear I fixed the 'and a' part... again we are talking about making a flippy floppy disk. Your link showed two punchers one for 5.25 write protect, and one for 3.5 high density... these are not true flippy floppy disk makers. It needs 3 holes punch to do the job, the write protect nocth, and the one punch on the top of the disk jack for the index hole and one on the bottom near the hub for the index hole again... 3 holes total because you can't punch through the media... to preserve the flip side without a modified drive you need the index hole... the write protect notch doesn't come into play.
