Anyone have an extra Incognito?

I have one that I never installed into my 800. I don't think I'm ever going to install it. I have an Ultimate1 for my 130XE anyways and I'd like to use the money to get some more Atari 8-bit programs to archive. PM me with an offer. Whoever buys it will not only have an Incognito, but they also will know they are contributing to archiving more Atari 8-bit software. :)

And, now that I have mine and have played with it for a whole day (!!!) I'd say a) priceless, b) never gonna give it up....

Thanks Candle!!

Yep, same here... I have 1 Incognito in an 800 with the full install, (including the Disk Swap Button under the Power Light and IDE access light).

My Incognito Proto Board or spare Incognito Board will eventually be installed in my original 800 that I bought in 1981.

The board that I don't use in that one will be a backup (Just in case)...

That reminds me - I need to get around to doing the disk swap and IDE LED mods to my Incognito 800. I have started finally using it as my daily machine for the past 2 weeks, and am loving the keyboard on this beast.

Cool, the disk swap switch can be a bit tricky to add. I found some micro push switches at the local electronics store (now gone) that have a taller shaft and used the tip of my soldering iron to melt a small sliver out of one side of the Power Light Diffuser where the shaft would rest in and used a small pocket knife to clean the excess melted plastic. Used some super-glue to mount the switch to the power board (after cutting the traces needed to separate the connections for the two LED's).

I used a high intensity Yellow LED for the power display and a high intensity Red LED for the IDE activity. It shows as Orange when active. Thinking of changing that to a high intensity Blue LED to show as Green during IDE activity instead...

The clear diffuser still needs one side of it to be shaved down so it can be raised a little so that a micro switch can be mounted underneath of it and traces do need to be cut in order to separate the contact pad to solder the IDE activity LED's power. Other than that, the external appearance of the 800 remains the same, except for the slightly raised diffuser that now acts as the switch...
