+DrVenkman
Fun little hack. Oddly, It runs on the version of the ProSystem emulator that can be installed through OpenEmu on my Mac, but NOT on the version installed through RetroPi on my Raspberry Pi. Lynxpro
How about continuing to work on it until it truly is Millipede? You already have HSC support - which the original 7800 Centipede also has - but what about throwing in the Trak-Ball code from Centipede-TB? [as long as you get permission to use that code]. POKEY detection would be helpful; I'm assuming one could lift the POKEY audio from the 5200 version. Then you'd have Trak-Ball, HSC, POKEY and co-op mode for Millipede. That would be frikkin' sweet.

+DrVenkman
Has anyone determined how (if it's possible) to launch the ProSystem emulator with trackball support? In the absence of a CuttleCart to use with on my 7800 and CX-22, I'd love to give this a try.

Lynxpro
One last suggestion… POKEY detection and using the 5200 version's audio when it is detected.
mmervine
I finally had a chance to take a look at this today. Walter and Blue, thanks for your work on this. It would be awesome, if you continued to work on this and improve it even further. Your efforts are much appreciated!
Lynxpro
Indeed. Dan Kramer was very happy over at Facebook to see another game [this one!] has been modded for use with his Trak-Ball controllers.

Andromeda Stardust
Cool beans. Honestly I prefer 7800 Centipede to NES Millipede, but that's apples to oranes. I've never played the original Millipede or Centipede but the 7800 original is awesome! Harmony Concerto can't come soon enough...
Jaynz
As much as I appreciate the graphic effort this really needs those 'rush' levels to truly be Millipede. And get the DDT working. It just ain't Millipede without those elements.
Andromeda Stardust
Strangely enough, when I look back over the years a number of high profile "protos" have been leaked on April 1st. I got done reading the Sirius and Plutos thread last night, where real awesome vintage games were released, and likewise for the "fake proto" of Pacman Jr, which I had the awesome opportunity to experience curtesy of PMP. Any game, proto or homebrew, is good to have. While I know Millipede has it's fans, you really need to go all out with the rework, and make it the truly unique sequel to it's predecessor, like the original arcade was. Like CGG did with Ms Pacman. I hope to hear back soon with results. Thanks for tackling this project!
