Orion_
Hello, For those who missed my Jaguar CD games, I unfortunately won't produce additional physical versions (because too few people seems interested) But if some of you are still interested or just discovered my games, you can now buy downloadable version from my website at reduced price. These downloadable versions are in form of a CDI image that you need to burn on a Blank CD-R, and High Definition PNG images of the cover, CD and manual that you can print to recreate a DVD box like the original. Check my website ! http://onorisoft.free.fr/retroshop/index.html
bender3455
Thanks Orion! I just recently bought Philia from you, and the quality is fantastic! I'll be getting Elansar from you soon, considering I love to support home brewers. Hopefully, your games will continue to get more attention.
rayik
Purchased all 3 games. Thank you for making them available as a download. I prefer to play games rather than collect releases. Glad to pay for downloadable versions.

ovalbugmann
That's great Orion_! I think I may just buy these digital versions of these three games of yours to have as backups for my actual cds of your games, Thanks for offering these. Also just tried to download some stuff(ojcc.zip) from your personal website in your AA signature link and got an error: Erreur 500 - Erreur interne du serveur
jaguar_fan
Orion, thank you very much! I purchased all three yesterday. Will try to burn the CDs over the weekend. Edited April 2, 2015 by jaguar_fan
omf
bit of a shame, i was hoping for pressed versions of Philia and yopaz, not to worry. I do understand that that means putting up cash that may not be reimbursed, I have done this with a few releases myself so completely understand. I have already purchased these in physical form it just nice to have a popper cd that's not going to die due to uv light
Orion_
Thanks for doing this. I paid the few, now how do I download it?? Sorry I don't have an automatic payment processing system, so you need to wait for me to wake up and process your order and send you the download links by email, it's done now bit of a shame, i was hoping for pressed versions of Philia and yopaz, not to worry. Philia is a pressed CD. But It was really hard to sell the remaining CDs, I had to discount them at a really cheap price on ebay, else nobody would want it :/ That's why I couldn't do pressed CD for Elansar and Yopaz, because my room is not extendable, and I can not store quantities of box. (pressed CD means, at least 300 CD produced) Alice is pressed CD but I included the PC version on the CD too (as well as the skunkboard version), so it can be sold to more people. omf
good point, i was thinking Philia being the second version, with Elansar being released previously (i have both cartridge and cd versions) the cd was released later after Philia i believe. my mistake perhaps you can get pressed cds on a spindle to conserve space? Serblander
Thank you for making these available as downloads! I haven't had the pleasure of playing any of your game just yet, but I'm on the list for the Elansar cart rerun (SUPER looking forward to it!) and my order from 16/32 is en route as we speak - i picked up Philia as well as the last copy of Yopaz Icestar (plus Alice is on the way : ) I read somewhere on AA that there is a difference in the cart release of Elansar and Philia compared to the CD - one medium has mouse support and the other has not (is this correct for both games? And does the CD have mouse support)? I hope the CD version has mouse support as this will be good to obtain in the downloadable versions. From what I remember, Elansar CD version don't have mouse support, whereas the Cart version have mouse support. I had issues with the mouse code and the new audio code for the CD running on the DSP. I decided to remove the mouse support because, well ... how many people actually have build a mouse adapter for the Jaguar ?
sh3-rg
But It was really hard to sell the remaining CDs, I had to discount them at a really cheap price on ebay, else nobody would want it :/ That's why I couldn't do pressed CD for Elansar and Yopaz, because my room is not extendable, and I can not store quantities of box. (pressed CD means, at least 300 CD produced) You've just got to be really patient and trickle those last few out over months and years rather than days and weeks. I saw the price the guy bought that box for, then saw how much he was getting resale. :/ I've found that there are plenty of people out there who do not use the usual forums and do not visit all the usual shops, but are keen on buying CD games via eBay... in my listings I would link to Console 5, AA, RGCD and Good Deal Games, where the game could be bought cheaper and without crazy insured shipping you simply have to include if you trade with eBay/PayPal - it was more of an advert if anything... and people still did buy-it-now, time and time again. It's a bit of a hassle, but it's the kind of hassle you can live with if it makes the difference between making money, breaking even or losing out. As for boxes of CDs... you have to get creative - imagine the fun you can have playing Jenga with 25-boxes of Jaguar games!!
Orion_
sh3 > Yes I know, I'm too impatient, now I regret to have sold my last box of Elansar CD to a guy that keep it for him and don't even resale it, I should have been more patient and keep it for the people now discovering my game. well, we all make mistakes, I will try not to do the same later

JAGUAR
Some of you guys think I am a no good Jaguar seller on ebay. Well, this guy got 25 copies of Philia for less than $75 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Box-of-25-Philia-the-Sequel-to-Elansar-for-Jaguar-CD-/281553247670?pt=FR_Jeux_Vid%C3%A9o&hash=item418de19db6&nma=true&si=jpgzzCPHzxgI2Hi2CU7aBcWVPbo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 and is now selling them on ebay for $50 each lol. He is going to make a killing! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Philia-Atari-Jaguar-CD-2014-NTSC-Sequel-To-Elansar-New-Sealed-Puzzle-Game-/291424126128?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43da3b44b0 How the hell did we all miss the auction of the box of 25 of them?! He was the only one that bid... I for sure would have bid on that lot... I guess I am a little bit jealous... But dang, Orion, I feel for you, I mean you made this game. That's why I NEVER auction anything on ebay anymore (everything Buy It Now). Not worth the risk to start an auction low and hope the bidding goes up. In the past I have tried auctioning big $ stuff with low start price and almost always I got screwed. Never again. I actually bought Philia here for about $35 total recently. http://console5.com/store/software/atari/philia-the-sequel-to-elansar-2014-release-atari-jaguar-cd.html Edited April 4, 2015 by JAGUAR

Tweety
Love to buy those adventures, but I can't burn them with my program on the Mac, or are there programs on the Mac what can burn these files.
+MacRorie
Love to buy those adventures, but I can't burn them with my program on the Mac, or are there programs on the Mac what can burn these files. Parallels works wonders on most Macs. I have it to burn all of my Jag CDis. Additionally, the Skunk GUI works great outside of the Windows environment.
