atari-dna
Is the regulator here +5V? I want to upgrade to a more modern component. Also, no heat sink was attached When I opened up the console, should I install one? A note to other Video Pinball enthusiasts, I had problems with terrible static interference, replacing a new RF cord solved the problem. The vintage cable had very bad continuity, probably developed cracks and breaks in it over the years. Simple fix ?
zylon
yes. that still uses the 7805 voltage regulator. Cheap and easy to find.
atari-dna
Great! I think I'm going to install a slide-on heat sink also. Thanks!
