ProSystem SIO2PC File access denied?

Recommended Posts

Prosystem is the second piece of software used in conjunction with the Atarimax SIO2PC-USB kit

normal ATR to disk creation is done by loading APE then loading Prosystem from within APE

if you're using a straightfoward ATR file it should work fine

some (possibly obvious, sorry) questions:

1] Are you loading APE first then Prosytem from within APE?

2] Does Prosystem detect your drive?

ps - i have a working version of KR that you can have if you like

it's on an ATR compilation - will have a delve in the morning and see if i can extract it for you

You are trying to use free APE software Prosystem features. I believe that requires registered APE and a prosystem interface, not a regular sio2pc interface and free APE.

I could be wrong about what you're working with.

Here's a quote from www.atarimax.com:

"The Atarimax Universal SIO2PC/ProSystem interface is a redesign of the classic Atari SIO2PC/APE and ProSystem interfaces, combining them into a single multi-function product."

APE/Pro interfaces come in USB and RS232 serial flavors.
