Shard of Spring: working image?

Hey folks,

 

I am the proud new owner an old Apple IIc, and am loving this little machine so far.

 

One game I really want to play on this is the Shard of Spring, which is the prequel to one of my favorite RPGs, Demon's Winter.

 

However, both images I have found online do not seem to run well.

 

The first one, cracked by Coast to Coast works pretty well if you use the included party, but if you try to create new characters and adventure with them, it duplicates one of the characters in your party

 

i.e. if you select character A, B, C, D, E... when you start the game you will have

A
B
A
D
E

 

The second image does not have an intro screen so I am not who cracked it. The game lets you go so far as to create characters and join then to a party, but when you load the party the game starts to load but then freezes.

 

Has anyone run into a good working copy online?
