FS: Sega Genesis Game Lot and Lode Runner for the ColecoVision

Recommended Posts

UPDATED NOV 23RD

ALL PRICES ARE $US AND DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING FROM CANADA

First ... I have a lot of 5 Sega Genesis games:

Sonic - Case and Cart in good condition. There is a "P' written in permanent marker on the cart.

Sonic 2 - Case, Manual and Cart in good condition. This is a NFR copy

Mario Lemieux Hockey - Case has damage and cart is in good condition

Combat Cars - Case, Manual and Cart in good condition. Cart has a couple minor tears on the label.

Power Monger - Cart in good condition. Case has a broken tab inside where the cart sits. Manual is in 'very used' condition, with stickers on the front and back.

I'm only interested in selling this as a single lot. Asking $25 + shipping

Next ... I have a copy of the Lode Runner homebrew for the ColecoVision. It is in fantastic condition and includes the box and manual. The box has been stored flat since I received it and it no longer has the styrofoam inserts. Asking $55 + shipping

I think the copies got passed around over the years. This version didn't stick around in Canada for long. Once the game started getting bundled with the system, the more well known box was being sold in stores.

I've got an interesting offer to put on the table.

I have the following Sega Genesis games I'm looking to find a new home for:

  • Power Monger (complete, manual is not in great shape and has stickers on it)
  • Combat Cars (complete, insert as a rip on the side)
  • Mario Lemieux Hockey (box and cart only, case has damage on front and back)
  • Not for Resale Sonic the Hedgehog (box and cart, great condition and cart doesn't say NFR)
  • Wheel of Fortune (cart only, label is intact but shows wear)
  • World Series Baseball (cart only, label is intact but shows wear)
  • Battletech (cart only, label is intact but shows wear)
  • Side Pocket (cart only, label is intact but shows wear)
Rather than selling these, I would like to trade all the above for the following version of Sonic the Hedgehog.

The game must be complete and in near mint condition.

If interested, shoot me a PM!

You mean this version?

I got it years ago in West Virginia. I also have the poster that came with it. All are in fairly good shape, but not absolutely mint. I've always figured it was an international version, going by the multilingual manual. Is it rare?

Yes, that's the one. It's the Canadian version. It's rare in that they are hard to come by. They're don't sell for more than a regular sonic cart though.

Good info- thanks :) I've wondered about it for a while. Btw, is the poster for it unique? My Sonic artwork on the poster that came with my copy has the regular US artwork.

why dont you buy a jap saturn, grey one with blue oval buttons is 20p,and there cheap.

and you sell your 21p after you got rhea working on it.

Because I already have 2 Saturns and don't need another one. A 21-pin version of RHEA will be available later this year, so I'll just be patient.

Lowered price, as shipping isn't as expensive as I thought and I screwed up the exchange rate.

Bump

For those wondering if their Saturn will support this, you can look at the buttons on the system for the answer. If your system has the oval buttons, you should have the right drive. If you have the circle buttons, chances are you don't have the right drive.

Sorry, I forgot to check mine until I seen your bump. Mine has round buttons and I counted 21 pins on the bottoms side of PCB. Mine is also chipped. How certain is one to get a 20 pin just based on the buttons shape? I am interested still, but do not want to have to buy a couple saturns in order to get the right version.

I responded to venom4728a via PM. Others who have the same question should see the following thread on Assembler Games:

http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/saturn-20-pin-cd-drive.55417/

Editing listing, noting that I'd be willing to trade some items for a modded GameCube. It needs to have a mod chip and a case mod to take full size DVDs.

I never knew about that Pong/Computer Space box set. That's damned sexy. Too bad I don't have (or really want) a Colecovision...

It's a real nice set, but I've decided not to collect homebrew anymore. There will be a few exceptions to that, which I'll be keeping in my collection.
