Which is Labor Day and the day I consider the last day of Summer. Keep up the awesome work everyone!! And great scores!! I like it. I'll declare a winner after September 7th. We can get into specifics about the exact time as the date gets closer (we need to take time zones into account). I haven't finalized the details yet but there will be a prize. D'oh! I read the star master manual, and saw that I did my score wrong. Count mine out for now, as I didn't get the total final at the end. I will try for it though. Still an impressive score. The key in Dragster is to keep revving the motor during the countdown and immediately go, shift through first and second quickly then go about halfway through the red on third before shifting to 4th then hit left on the joystick a couple times to kick it faster. Using a 7800 joystick to test it, I was able to get my first "modern" patch (and above all VERIFIED, 'cause back in the days I never took a pic of my 330k score circa 1985)... Nice! It's funny in all these years I've never really bothered to compare any of my scores to the patch score before now. I know I've hit several of the others in the past.
