KAZ Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) I've been watching all the sliders episodes... In the pilot you can hear donkey kong sound effects in a store. And now I know they were just using canned sound effects, because in season 2, episode 6 "Time Again, and World", you hear donkey kong sounds towards the beginning. Then at 17:48 you hear atari 2600 pac-man sounds (pac-man dying sound effect at 17:48, hehe), and then the game. I just think it is charming, and pointing it out. jaybird3rd Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Whenever a TV show or movie needs "video game sounds", 2600 Pac-Man and 2600 Donkey Kong are the two games whose sounds are used the most often, so you'll hear them in lots of things.
