What's the deal????? Based on the money raised so far, I'd say it was a wise move. Seeing these types of books that either get ignored by traditional publishers or get minimal effort put into them in terms of promotion, etc., when they do get picked up makes me think it might be time for me to move into self publishing as well. The money books on Commodore, Atari, and other retro gaming (and computing) topics have raised has been insane, particularly relative to advances you get from traditional publishers.
