LS_Dracon
This is my latest homebrew game, Incoming for Magnavox Odyssey 2 / Philips Videopac (and soon for G7400 too). Incoming is an Atari 2600 game made by Ben Larson who gave me authorization to port his game to Odyssey 2. This is a homebrew port of an homebrew game not made by same author. Incoming is a turn based game where you're a tank and need to destroy the opponent tank, you have one shoot at time. Changing the elevation (angle) and the power of the projectile trajectory, you can hit the opponent. If the projectile hits the ground, a piece of terrain is removed. If you're familiar to Artillery Duel or most recent Worms, basically it's the same game. How To Play : At title screen, press the action button, the options menu is not finished and don't affect the gameplay. During the game, press Up or Down to change the elevation and Left or Right to change the power of the shoot. Beware the wind speed that affect the projectile trajectory. After 10 points the game freezes, press reset to play again. W.I.P. Status : The game is playable, you're a red tank and the opponent is the green tank, the AI is already functional, but you need to press the action button for the opponent shoot. The game is 75% done and works on real hardware, but still many things left, sometimes the game crashes and the sound fx need to be improved and so on. incO2v09.rom Edited June 26, 2015 by LS_Dracon

CatPix
Gorilla.bas It's always fun! Will the Videopac+ version be a + version only (better resolution) or a standard with Hi res backgroudns version? May you plan to get a Voice support as well? I think those kind of games get a lot more fun factor from getting a voice
LS_Dracon
Oh I remember this one! I was a teenager and tried to understand qbasic because I wanted so much make a video game, but looking the source of this game I failed miserably... Now 20 years late I'm making such game! The Videopac Plus graphic will be made by my friend Rafael, I don't know exactly how it works but I think it is compatible with standard console. I don't need to update the game code to PAL machines like Death Race because there's no problem to be 15% slower as speed is not a issue in this game. I have plans to add support to the Voice Module.
