7800 Not playing 7800 games

Hello! New to the forums and new to the 7800. I just got a 7800 system today (first I have ever owned), and it plays 2600 games fine but does not play any 7800 game I have tested.

2600 games display very clearly on my tv, but when I put a 7800 game in, I get a scrambled screen, no Atari splash screen or anything.

Does anyone know what the problem may be? Any help would be appreciated, I apologize if it is posted on the wrong forum.

You may have a dirty cart slot/games, or/and Maria graphics chip going/gone bad.

The above threads provide thorough discussion, instructions, and additional links on cleaning and options.
