segasaturn Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) The following special boxed edition of Windows 95 was handed out to journalists and other attendees of the special launch event at the Microsoft campus in Redmond Washington on August 24, 1995. I own a sealed copy of it and I was just wondering what you guys thought of it. its authentic. Got it from a friend actually for my birthday. "This is the special edition version of Windows 95, and has the dubious distinction of being the a very rare collectors item for the technology enthusiast. This box design, having only been released at the Redmond launch is very, very difficult to find." websites I've read. Shephda Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 It's hard to tell, to me not much (but I'm not interested in it) but to a real vintage PC collector could be worth a lot. It's like other PC software, I bought a large box of about 30 boxed 90's era PC games for $10. Sold Castelvania on 3.5" disks to a guy in Spain for $700 and the rest went in a lot and got $200 for them. Put it on eBay with a high reserve and see what happens.
