I learn something new everyday :-)

Between this thread, and another from the OP, I have learned quite a bit about CoCo's this week..

The CoCo 2s came from the factory with 16K and Standard BASIC, or 16K and Extended BASIC, the 64Ks only came with Extended BASIC.

There are Three subversions of the 16K, ( nul ), A and B, but only Two subversions of the 64K, ( nul ) and B.

The "carrot" symbol, ( e.g. "^" ) is not above the #6 key, but is generated from the Up-Arrow key.. This seems common on Original CoCo 1s, 2s, and 3s keyboards.

I got 3200points. Edited it so now it says "press a key, Jacob" lol :)

The joy of having the Source Code....

Have any ideas to make it Play better, or at least different??

Its a pretty basic game, I'd like to eventually edit it up to play more like my favorite 2600 game, Seaquest :)

Need to get a disk drive or tape drive first tho as typing it in every time I start the CoCo would suck lol

Get a Disk Drive, but get one of these too:

CoCo SDC

Here is some info on how to get one, Zippster is now a Member here:

Recently acquired a Tandy RadioShack Color Computer 2

Yes, it plugs into the Cartridge Port and acts like a Floppy Drive, or a Hard Drive.

When I bought mine in OCT-NOV-2014, there was an option to buy a Kit and Solder it yourself, or buy it Assembled..

I think you can still get them either way... Ask Zippster about the current options...
