+intellivotion
Surely a trivial question but I am above all an Intellivisionary and not very informed on the Atari 2600 world: I was looking at HALO 2600 for Atari 2600 and noticed that there are 2 different PAL versions: PAL50 and PAL60. Which is the difference? Which is the version that works properly on a ATARI 2600 console in Italy? Thanks!
+SpiceWare
http://spiceware.org/atari_ntsc_pal_secam.html PAL50 = color values for PAL 2600, timing for PAL TV PAL60 = color values for PAL 2600, timing for NTSC TV most PAL TVs can handle NTSC timing. Thomas Jentzsch
Is the PAL 50 version of Halo running slower than the PAL 60 version or was that compensated?
