Bill Loguidice
I snagged Digger and So, You Want to Be a Knight? I actually have the PC DOS original of Digger, but the disk got corrupted. It more or less only works on original IBM PCs and a few of the offshoots because of the way it utilizes the hardware (which is why it's among the best of the early PC games). It will be nice having it on the ColecoVision in non-corruptible cartridge form.

This is the type of game I'd rather play on the original hardware, but it's good to know it works well in emulation too. At least I'll get to play a ColecoVision version now. At least I'll get to play a ColecoVision version now. I don't consider DosBOx on a PC , 100% as an emulation. But the colecovision is indeed very good. I love it. but i miss the charm of CGA graphics of old PC.

I love it. but i miss the charm of CGA graphics of old PC. For the most part, I agree, save for the very early PC DOS games like this one. It's the closest the PC platform has ever really gotten to having a unique personality like the other non-generic vintage platforms. Most of those games are fairly dreadful or rudimentary, but a few, like Digger, were actually quite good, especially given the limitations. Ikrananka
Been having a lot of fun playing the new games - thanks to everyone involved. However, I think I have hit upon a significant bug in Digger which so far for me can be easily replicated. If the last emerald to be eaten on screen is immediately beneath a bag of gold, then the round ends, the bag of gold falls to where your digger was and the sound locks up with the last tone played at high volume. The bag of gold then falls jerkily to the bottom, changes into a pile of gold, and then nothing else happens other than the sound continuing to play a single tone at high volume. From the players perspective the game appears to have completely locked up and does not proceed to the next round as it should Can anyone else confirm this behaviour?
