Philflound
Since I got no response from anyone in the giant list thread, I'm posting this in a thread of its own. I can now edit this first post so what I'm going to do is remove any that I've gotten scans of and add those that I found exist but do not have a scan. Started to add cartridge/label scans I'm missing or think should exist, and also the manuals. More will come over the next couple of days. Ok, here is the list of box scans I need for Atari made games. Anything that has been confirmed to exist, when you go on the page for the boxes of a specific title, you will see the black box that says "no box image available". This means that I have seen a scan or photo of this box variation, but it wasn't usable. If there is no listing for the variations at all, it means that there probably should be a variant for that specific year, but I have found no evidence for it. So unless there is the black place holder photo, anything listed below is an educated guess. Eventually I'll be working on 3rd party items. Atari Missing Box Scans Adventure 1986; 1987 Alpha Beam with Ernie 1986 (other Sesame Street titles have 1986 releases) Asteroids 1987 Basic Programming no frills generic box from Back to School Pak Basketball 1986 Battlezone 1985 Big Bird 1986 Brain Games white warranty © inside; no frills generic box from Back to School Pak Breakout no frills generic box from Action Pak Centipede 1985; 1986; red box Cookie Monster 1986 (other Sesame Street titles have 1986) Crossbow 1987 Printed in China/Made in Hong Kong Defender 1985 Desert Falcon 1987 Printed in Taiwan; 1987 Printed in Hong Kong/Made in China Dig Dug 1985; 1986 Dodge 'Em no frills generic box from Action Pak Donkey Kong 1987 Printed in Taiwan Donkey Kong Jr 1987 Printed in Taiwan; 1987 Printed in Hong Kong ET 1986 Printed in Taiwan Galaxian 1987 Made in China Gremlins 1984 Made in Taiwan sticker; 1986 Haunted House 1986 Indy 500 1981 "ninety day" warranty Joust 1985; 1986; 1987 Jungle Hunt 1985 Kangaroo 1985; 1986 Mario Bros. 1985; 1986 Math Gran Prix 1986 Maze Craze 1986 grey box Midnight Magic 1987 sticker Printed in Hong Kong/Made in China Millipede 1984 8 languages Made in Taiwan; 1987 red box Made in Hong Kong?; 1987 red box Made in Taiwan/Printed in Taiwan Missile Command 1985; 1986; 1991 Mouse Trap 1987 Ms Pac-Man 1987 Made in Hong Kong; 1987 Printed in Hong Kong, Made in China Night Driver 1986 grey; 1987? Philflound
Found Backgammon 1986 and Realsports Baseball 1987, so they're live on the site. I discovered new variations for Superman. 1979 white warranty box inside box and 1981 white warranty box outside box. They are now listed on the page, but I need scans of those 2. Could not afford to get them at the moment. Also add I need Donkey Kong Jr 1987 Printed in Hong Kong. Will list any new scans I need. I went through tons of boxes and have more detailed info on many of them which will be updated between now and the end of the weekend. Philflound
Thank you. Many foreign releases are missing and I don't have much access to them. On a separate note, it looks like there is a "ninety day warranty" variation for Indy 500. I had just written it down for reference where I was doing all my work, and since I did not have access to the website, didn't realize there was none listed. I have to go back and try and get more info on this. Also just discovered Ms. Pac-Man 1987 Printed in Hong Kong / Made in China variation. I'll be updating the site to need that too. Philflound
I'm going to bump this every 2 weeks or so. I just got scans of 1986 Canyon Bomber grey box, Indy 500 white no frills, and a new Millipede 1987 version. These will be updated within 24 hours. Thanks Chas. Philflound
Added 1986 Warlords box to the list as there is a 1986 cartridge. I'll be reviewing all the carts to see which boxes I should add. I'll also be doing the reverse if I have boxes or manuals with later years and no cart listed, I'll be adding cart scans that I need or should exist. I'm also eliminating the majority of carts without a photo as if they do exist, I can just add them at a later date.
Philflound
Just got a 1985 Ms. Pac-Man box. Problem is I think the lot I purchased was definitely married. It had a 1982 cart and manual inside. Why I think things are married is that some of the boxes aren't corresponding with the cartridges and/or manuals. I got a Canadian Coleco Venture box with a regular cart and an Atari manual inside. It's sad I was hoping to acquire full complete original items. I got a Canadian Tutankham box and inside has both English manual and a total French manual. This has the Canadian cart, so I'm happy that this is original. Might have a few new additions like the Ms. Pac-Man. Will keep updated this week as I'm going through everything in the next few days. Philflound
Just got the Superman boxes with the white warranty labels, one inside copyright and one outside copyright. Will be scanning and getting them up hopefully tonight. Finally was able to buy these at a slight discount as I don't need them for my personal collection and just wanted them to scan for the site. Once I get them up and test the cartridges, I'll put them on Ebay. Will try to recoup the money I spent since I don't have too much to play around with. Anyway, if you want to see the game boxes, check the site tomorrow.
high voltage
Have a look through my collection, maybe there's one or two items you need. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/206624-my-absolute-greatest-atari-vcs-2600-collection-all-cib-if-possible/ Edited November 28, 2015 by high voltage
Philflound
Thanks. If I get time after New Years I'll take a look. The list at the top is going to grow when I finally get through manuals and start to post. Have to finish the rest of the 3rd party too. Mulletino
Picked up one of the ones you need a scan of at the weekend (pretty happy with AU$10 a pop) and will try to remember to get some scans in for you:
Philflound
Cool, thanks. Have been getting ready to add the rest of the 3rd party software. Been having a difficult time personally or else I would have done much more.
Mulletino
I see there's already a Crossbow box scan, although mine is different in that it only has the left photo, the whole right column is different languages.
