BoatofCar
Can you believe there was a Super Famicom port of this that *didn't* feature Mario? Talk about wasted opportunity! This week on Amigos we take a look at a timeless puzzler that was out FIRST on the Amiga, Pipe Mania!
BoatofCar
Links is a pretty divisive game. Some people think it's the best golf game on the platform, but for others its graphical feats are overshadowed by the incredibly long wait times between shots, even with a fast "modern" Amiga. What do you think?
thetick1
So why two post to the ancient necro-posts? Two post in March and last one was back in 2016 ?

I normally use Google Podcasts, so I check this out when I can. Additionally, I myself might just score a CoCo 3 here that is being sold somewhat close to me. Definitely I will keep watching 'The CoCo Show' regardless, but may have a more vested interested here soon. In the meantime, take care and keep up the great work! The CoCo3 is the one to get, if you can get it for less than the fortune it currently commands on eBay.

BoatofCar
It's hard to believe we're in year five of doing the Amigos show! And we've still got tons of great games to cover. Buggy Boy is unique-a time-trial, flag collecting race to the finish with slalom-like time extending gates. Where does it stand in the pantheon of racers on the Amiga? Find out what we think on this week's episode! Podcast Audio Link

AmigosGaming
Hi everyone, I will be posting updates about the latest episodes of Amigos. If you have never seen or heard the show then why not make this your jumping in point. Epyx released California Games as a side shoot from their popular series of Summer and Winter Games. A collection of mini games around sports you might have seen on an episode of Baywatch! Does the #amiga offering hold up against the wide range of versions and more importantly.....is it any good? Join the Amigos for their latest Amiga adventure. AmigosGaming
Did you see this years Amigathon? Just in case you don't know what it is, here is the info. Every year Amigos Retro Gaming puts on a fund raising event to help out the kids. We donate to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. It's 12 hours of Amiga related antics which has grown this year to include sections from both Amiga Bill and Retro Man Cave. This year we managed to raise a stonking $5,370 which is our best total ever. Thank you to everyone who donated and got involved. We have been posting the event chopped up into sections. This week it is the interview with David Pleasance as he talks about his latest book, From Vultures to Vampires. Here is the Youtube video: David Pleasance Interview on Amigathon 2020 We hope you will join us for Amigathon 2021!

AmigosGaming
Hakuna Matata everyone. Do you think that a Disney license and pretty graphics are all that is needed to make a good platform game? An AGA machine only game which apparently doesn't use any AGA specific features? Any thoughts on that? Join Boat and Aaron as they review The Lion King on the Commodore Amiga. There is also a look at this weeks Amiga News and the usual banter! While I think this was a decent platformer, making it an AGA machine only game which didn't use any AGA specific features was a bad decision. But, then again, this was released at end of the Amiga's life as a viable gaming platform, so I suppose it could have been worse in some respects, but it could have been a heck of a lot better, that's for sure.

Just out of interest I tried to run it on an A500+ with an 020. It loaded but the screen just showed a block of colour across the top of the screen but it did change colour when I pressed fire on the joystick. Maybe it was running but couldn't tell.
