Clint Thompson
I got a forbidden error? Either something is blocking or I need to sign up and be a member?
+save2600
Gotta admit… always cringe when I see old gear being handled/displayed like it is at these shows sometimes. Disk drives on their sides, A2000's sitting atop A1000's, keyboard cables stretched all to hell and wrapped around keyboards, containers squishing original boxes and other assorted "neked ladies and wounded warriors". I'm mostly funning around of course - show looked like a lot of fun! Great to see some of the "old" faces and looks like even Cammy made an appearance all the way from Aussieland! +OLD CS1
I got a forbidden error? Either something is blocking or I need to sign up and be a member? Try again. AO is known to have trouble from time-to-time. Gotta admit… always cringe when I see old gear being handled/displayed like it is at these shows sometimes. True, it is a little disconcerting, but I bet every damn one of those cards work just fine. I got an extra 1020 5.25" drive and a nice looking keyboard, but had to pass on the Amiga 3000 RAM card. And I watched a guy walk away with a MegaAChip and an English "Guru Book" for about $35 or so... I did not dig deep enough!! Yeah, it was good to see Cammy there. She is a very helpful member of the community and her efforts are very appreciated, irrespective of the amount of crap she gets from some people.
