coaxial on ps3?

i normally play ps3 through rca. but the tv in my bedroom only has coaxial input, and i want to play ps3 on it. can i use a rf switch made for ps1/ps2 (i already have that)?

Unfortunatley you aren't able to. It only inputs through AV composite or HDMI. You can't use RF. It's not compatible with the tv. That old analog tv doesn't have a converter for the ps3 digital signal - modern sets convert to a 50hz or 60hz signal through the input.

If you find an old VCR with RCA-Composite inputs and coax connectors, you could use that to connect the PS3 to the older TV. That *should* work. Just make sure you are able to change the input on the VCR, some of them need a remote to do so.

i do but it's in the living room.

I'd think that even if you got coax working most of the text would be impossible to read. I hooked my PS3 up via composite once and even then the text was hard to read.
