Opry99er
Needing a matched set of one or the other... Bat or ball-type sticks. Willing to trade.
+jedimatt42
I have a Wico Command Bat and a Ball, I recently picked up used off ebay... I have mixed feelings about them... they look premium.. but I cannot get through the refueling tunnel in parsec with them... Until tonight, the base button on the Ball didn't work at all... someone had swapped some wires around inside. I put them back and it now behaves just like the Bat. I'm not sure if either of them behave correctly though... The base/stick switch seems to function only to disable the base, but never disables the stick button. Is that normal? As I opened up the Ball to see why the base button didn't work, there was plenty of rubber dust. So maybe they just need the contacts cleaned... I'd be up for a trade. +Schmitzi
Hi Matt, Nice pics, thanks. I have one question. Are these the right names for these Joysticks, "Command Bat" and "Ball" ? (As I want to add them to "The List"....) http://atariage.com/forums/topic/241978-ti-99-resources-lets-have-a-list-for-it/?p=3306338 thanks schmitzi PS: Maybe you hve a pic from the boxes, with the Wico´s part-numbers ? PS2: Maybe u have a pic with readable specs from the powersupplies, if exists ? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/242092-ti-99-resources-requests-for-facts-specs-data/?p=3308313 WICO-Section from today:
Opry99er
Wico Command Bat Wico Command Ball I believe this is correct terminology. Those are not normal behaviors, jedi. The switch should engage the buttons as you think... Base should enable base button, stick should engage stick button. I currently use the ball version, always use stick button option. I earned a SubClub Activision patch on my 2600 scoring over 64,000 points on SeaQuest using the ball. Absolutely love these sticks. Opry99er
Just acquired two bat-style Wicos in a trade. Still looking for a matched set of Wico ball-top sticks.
Opry99er
Have some assembled cart boards I could trade... I have a TI program cassette recorder with sealed cable interface I could begrudgingly part with for matched ball-tops.
+Schmitzi
Hi, I have a WICO Trackball now, but I miss the powersupply. So I need some info for the DV-6600. It is 117V 60Hz 7-Watt 600mA, but which kind of plug does it have ? Is there any photo ? And how is the polarity (+ = inside ?) thanks
+Schmitzi
BUMP. Nobody with a pic from the trackball´s powersupply / polarity ?
ti99iuc
This is the AC Power Adapter Ralf, about polarity i am not sure, it seems to have the positive on the TOP of the connector
+Schmitzi
.. ah cool, thanks a lot And the polarity, + is on inside I think ? (I have to use an universal powersupply, and so I have to "config" the polarity)
ti99iuc
yes, with my tester i have a 7.4v in output connecting the positive cable to the + that you have indicated in the picture. but if i will inverting the cables on the connector i have the same value, so i am not sure, just i suppose that it is right as the picture Edited September 22, 2015 by ti99iuc

+Ksarul
If you look carefully at the adapter, the output is AC--not DC, so polarity doesn't really matter much. . .that also means that most 6V adapters WON'T WORK, as they are usually DC output.
+Schmitzi
uh thanks. so I have to check for a special AC-Adapter for that..... My old AC/DC-problem ♪♫ More Power - More Music ♪♫
AlfTI
Schmitzi, I have a boxed WICO Trackball. The label on the mains power adaptor is : SINO-AMERICAN MODEL:AC-AC 6500 INPUT : 120V 60Hz 4W OUTPUT : 6V AC 500mA I would imagine that any AC-AC adaptor giving 6V @ 500mA would do. Hope this helps.
